Being a ReMax agent affiliated with ReMax In Town is really the most effective business model in the business. There are many different types of real estate companies and there is plenty of room for all but the ReMax model gives an agent the opportunity to really excel and reach a higher platform. I spent the first two years of my eleven years in this business with a conventional real estate firm. I realized that it was time to shift from a salesman to a businessman. I run my own business. I am able to control every facet of my business, marketing my product to best serve my client base. ReMax in general and ReMax In Town in particular provides an amazing amount of tools and technology to enhance my ability to give my customers the service they deserve. There is a great deal of comraderie within the office and it is a pleasure working with a group of sucessful agents, being able to bounce off ideas and resolve issues with other dedicated professionals. |

As a 30 year Broker Associate, I can honestly say that I wish I had joined RE/MAX much sooner in my career. I love being with RE/MAX for many reasons. I am in total control of my own business, I get MAXIMUM commissions, and I have the power of the RE/MAX brand behind me. Working at RE/MAX IN TOWN is more like a hobby than a job. A hobby is fun and personally rewarding, that is how I feel about my job at RE/MAX IN TOWN. The agents affiliated with our office are real estate professionals that are committed to the best servicing of their clients. That too is how my interactions are with each agent. Why I chose RE/MAX IN TOWN There are many RE/MAX offices to choose from, but what makes RE/MAX IN TOWN different is the “small town feel” with the “big city” resources and the brand name of RE/MAX. You are not lost in the shuffle as in the office size of RE/MAX IN TOWN is smaller than other offices YET we have the resources and network of the number one real estate company. The best of both worlds. After working for Weichert, Keller Williams and C21, I learned that Training was ok at best and was really more beginner remedial training so once you learned this information, there was nothing left to learn that would propel you into becoming a top producer. Also the promises of being in a “team environment” never happened, the only advice that I would get or help was from the non-producing agents. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. The training lacked, the pay was less than I anticipated, and “team” never seemed to be there when I needed them. Then, I met Joe “D”, the broker/owner at RE/MAX IN TOWN. I was doing a deal with Joe and his team and was really impressed with the professionalism that he and his team showed. You can quickly see if your co-broker will be pleasant to deal with or if the transaction will be a complete mess where you are left doing the whole deal in order to close. I always knew that RE/MAX was the cream of the crop with all the top agents but never felt comfortable with making the “leap” to the big leagues. I decided to meet with Joe and get more information RE/MAX IN TOWN. Joe answered all my questions and more. Many of the things I heard about RE/MAX were misconceptions. I had heard how “you have to pay for everything” at RE/MAX when the reality is that you pay at EVERY office but the difference is that at most offices you keep paying. I figured out how much I paid my past brokers each year and what I would have paid if I was at RE/MAX and I could easily see why working at RE/MAX made financial sense but of course money is not everything. The training offered at RE/MAX that Joe showed me was incredible. Training ranged from novice to the most advanced training available with many ways to receive the information to fit any ones schedule. It was awesome to find a company that had it all. Obviously I decided to join RE/MAX after speaking with Joe “D”. The money was right and the training and resources made me make the switch. I just wished I had made the move sooner. Of course it is great to work where you make the best money and have available the best training, but it is a bonus to like the people you work with and to be able to ask those questions and advice. At RE/MAX IN TOWN specifically, Joe “D” and all the agents and support staff are very friendly and helpful and are there when needed. While the support is there when you need it, you are never smothered with “check-ins” and office meetings from Joe. He is always there when you need him but is not micro-managing you as you are running your own business. Joe is a great source for information as he is one of the top 1% in Mercer County and is willing to share any information that he knows. He is constantly updating himself with current real estate knowledge and technology. Even though he is an active agent, Joe NEVER competes with you for business. Again, RE/MAX IN TOWN gives me the “small town feel” with the “big city” resources. You are not lost in the shuffle as in other franchises; we have the resources and network of the number one real estate company. The best of both worlds. What I really like about being a REMAX agent is that I have total control over my marketing and follow-up strategies. My name and brand are first and foremost in front of my clients. REMAX is just a great company to have for support and platform. When you are a REMAX agent, clients know you are a proven expert in Real Estate brokerage. For me, the decision to move to REMAX IN TOWN was very easy and logical; I am a dedicated full-time real estate broker and I live in the Mercer County area. There is no other office, conventional or otherwise, that could provide the technology support and market exposure than REMAX IN TOWN. When it was time to grow my business, the decision was clear. Even in a slowing market, all myleads come directly to me and I get new ones from the REMAX site every week. No time lost, the system alerts me even when they are still online. Clients are very impressed when I call them back right away. They know I’m on top of my game! I especially appreciate the encouragement and support that I get from the Broker and Staff.
